I opened my practice for internal medicine and family medicine on Richard-Strauss-Str. 93 in 2007. In addition to primary care, I offer my patients a full scope of internal diagnostic services.

Generally, if you are suffering from an acute illness, you can come to our practice as a walk-in patient up to an hour before the end of our office hours each day. If you have an emergency or need medical assistance outside of our office hours, please contact the on-call service (Ärztlicher Bereitschaftsdienst) operated by the Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KV Bayern) at the following telephone number: 116 117 (throughout Germany), or the emergency dispatch service at the following telephone number: 112.

Services

General services covered by statutory health insurance:

Primary care services

DMP (monitoring program for chronic illnesses such as type 2 diabetes, COPD/asthma, coronary heart disease)

Health check-ups: "Check up 35:" Available for patients age 35 and older every three years. Scope: Consultation on risk profile, physical examination, laboratory tests

Cancer screening: "Check up 45:" Available for patients age 45 and older every year. Scope: Consultation on risk profile, physical examination (particularly of lower abdominal organs and prostate), stool test for patients age 50 and older

Vaccinations according to the recommendations issued by the Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO). Please bring your vaccination records to these appointments!

Laboratory tests

Resting ECG

Blood pressure readings, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring

Ultrasound examination of the abdomen/chest area and the thyroid

Preparation for anesthesia for upcoming operations

Primary care for psychosomatic disorders

Services for private patients (“IGeL” services):

These are services that the statutory health insurance fund is not generally required to cover. Consequently, these services will be billed to the patient according to the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ).

Medical certificates

Travel medicine consultations, including specific vaccinations

Revitalizing therapies such as supplementary infusion therapy, supplementary immune therapy for recurring infections, vitality therapies to improve strength and stamina for tiredness, exhaustion and tension

General preventative check-ups before age 35

Extended laboratory tests as part of preventative care, such as tumor markers, PSA screening, homocysteine screening, special lipid profile, stool tests

Extended preventative check-ups and health check-ups for people with statutory health insurance coverage.
